Housing demand is expected to pick up when the first integrated resort opens next year, employing thousands, said Chua Yang Liang, head of Southeast Asia research with Jones Lang LaSalle.

2 Foreign work force will create demand for housing, but can they afford it? Maybe 90 persons in a 5-room private apartment . How many have extra 5 room apartment to rent out?
3 They only want wealthy foreigners, so that can earn lawyers fees, tax, commission. But they did not mention these people are highly mobile. They can write off their investment easily. Why they didn't change their nationality into the silly world class sporeans?
4 There is no point having a bullish proprety market when the people are struggling to survive. If you are the biggest deveoplers like HDB, City Dev, Far east etc then the whole story is different.
Eventually you will realise you are working your entire life for them. Ask yourself , how did they growth into such size without over pricing ?
